Dr. Christina Bartosch is an internationally educated and experienced art historian. During and after her studies in Paris and London, Christina interned and worked for various institutions across the (art) world (galleries, auction houses, art fairs, museums etc.).

 

Based in Vienna since 2012, she accompanied the 2013 and 2015 editions of the Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, was a co-founder of the Biennale Archive Austria and one of the instigators of the research project “Exhibitions of Modern European Paintings, 1905–1915”, as well as the ensuing Database of Modern Exhibitions (DoME). These experiences allowed her to gain extensive knowledge particularly in European art exhibition history of the 20th century, which also became the core of the research of her doctoral thesis (University of Vienna).
